Select a door, and then decide whether to stick or switch after one door is revealed!
Understanding the Monty Hall Problem
The Monty Hall problem is a famous probability puzzle based on a game show scenario:
- There are three doors: behind one is a car, and behind the other two are goats.
- You pick one door. The host, Monty, opens another door, revealing a goat.
- Monty then asks if you'd like to stick with your original choice or switch to the remaining door.
Statistically, switching gives you a 2/3 chance of winning the car, while sticking gives you only a 1/3 chance.
